Fast and delayed cartridge fuses

Protect your device from overcurrents

A cartridge fuse, also called a cylindrical fuse, is an electronic component used to protect a device from overcurrents. Fuses behave like switches: if too high a current passes through them, the internal filament overheats and melts, breaking the circuit.
Cartridge fuses are usually cylindrical in shape of different sizes (5×20, 6×32 fuses) and are made of glass, ceramic or porcelain.
Fuses are distinguished by rated current, breaking capacity and tripping speed:

The applications are the most generic and are always combined with connectors or filters with fuses and fuse holders.
